Great Plains Patriots,
I have created an e-mail address – greatplainspatriots@yahoo.com – for the Patriot movement over the entire Great Plains of North America to build a database of everyone interested in becoming involved in the fight to restore local control, personal freedom, and fiscal responsibility to limited government.
Please add this contact link to your websites, add this e-mail address to your mailing lists, and send us your mailing lists of Great American Patriots, so that we can begin to build an effective database to quickly notify all interested area Patriots of any events happening within the Great Plains Region of North America.
We must take every opportunity to build upon interest in our movement after the recent massive protest rally in Washington, DC.
We got home safely with both our buses from the 9/12 DC Rally!
I think the feeling was unanimous on both the Sioux Falls and St. Paul buses that we had a great trip, got to know many wonderful people, and would have loved to have had all of you Great American Patriots along!
By now, all aboard have gotten to know and love each other, just like family, and all were much more gracious to me than I deserved for my small efforts to get them to DC.
Everyone on the buses who took pictures will post those, soon, so you can all enjoy what it was like to have attended the largest political protest in the history of Our Great Nation, and most probably in the history of the whole World!
For all of those who wanted to go along, but never got on board, please forgive me for not being up to date with the times.
I was already on the road, as phone calls and e-mails were still coming in from people wanting to get on the bus, but I do not have a Blackberry, or anything that modern, so I did not get many of the communications till I got home from DC.
As everyone on our bus knows, I needed to get a little sleep by the time I got home.
We had room on each bus for more, but, due to a few minor glitches along the way, we got to some stops nearly two hours late, and I had no cell phone numbers to contact those that might be waiting there to inform them that we would be late.
So, some who wanted to get on a bus to DC did not get on board.
Luckily, these were all people who had not yet paid for a seat, but I surely would have taken them along, anyway, if we could have made connection.
So, I can only offer my wholehearted apology for not getting everyone on board who wanted to go. I sincerely hope we never have to leave anyone behind, again.
We had enough empty seats that we will need to hold some fund-raising activities and ask anyone that might be willing to donate to our cause to pay for the balance we owe the bus companies.
Please feel free to make suggestions, or use your own initiative to get donations from any Patriots that might be able to help.
If we get more than enough, we will apply it to a ‘war chest’ for the next trip.
As tyrants never relinquish power willingly, there will be another rally!
It is curious that Obama’s White House claimed to not be aware there was a rally!
I guess it must be normal to see thousands of protesters surrounding the Whitehouse and hundreds of thousands choking the full length of Pennsylvania Ave. and from the Capital Steps two-thirds of the way back to the Washington Monument on the National Mall!
I might suggest that there are many important facts Obama and his Marxist minions are not aware of!
I submit that their education is just beginning!
Please talk to your friends, neighbors, and acquaintances, write letters to the editors of your newspapers, call into talk radio shows, and pass the truth on to everyone on the Internet to inform the People about our rally, and complain about the almost-total news black-out by the liberal media, and the lies that they did tell in misreporting on our massive, clean, and perfectly peaceful, rally of 1.7 Million Patriots on the National Mall!
The Capital Police told us we were welcome to come back any time we want, as we were the cleanest and most well-mannered rally they have ever had there.
Now, we are building a stronger Mid-American network of Patriots to better organize all of our future rallies and trips, so, please, get on board and volunteer to help thru greatplainspatriots@yahoo.com, if you also have some energy, time, and capabilities (especially IT/web page building) to contribute to the saving of our Constitution, and the restoration of the Republic!
Tho’ everyone viewed the 9/12 DC Rally as a great accomplishment and success, I see it as merely a practice run, and I promise we will start organizing the next trip sooner, set the final itinerary sooner, and be much better organized in all respects.
At present, it looks like that next trip may be a multiple day march from April 15 to 19, 2010, culminating in a March and Rally in Support of the Second Amendment on the original Patriot’ Day, the 235th Anniversary of “the Shot Heard ‘Round the World” at Lexington Green!

On the local news front:
I spoke at an area Minutemen Patriots meeting at Wendel and Elaine Rolfs’ natural foods store, A Taste of Country, north of Holstein, IA, Saturday afternoon, Sept. 19, to report on our DC trip. The meeting was a well-attended success.
There was a virtual news black-out on the 912 Rally in our region!
We need to let the People know the truth about the 1.7 Million (reported by Glenn Beck) Patriotic Americans who peacefully marched in DC without trashing the National Mall and without so much as one single protester being arrested.
If you weren’t watching Fox News, or CSpan, you would never know anything about the occurrence of the largest political rally in American history!
I find that to be incredible!
And, further evidence that we need an alternative ‘conservative’ mass media organization with TV, radio and newspaper in Middle America.
I have been collecting some equipment toward that end, so let me know, if you have any expertise in those areas. Let’s get something started!
Above all, Patriots, take the bull by the horns in your own area!
At the bare minimum, make sure that all Patriots in your county have an e-mail address to communicate thru, example – saccounty.ia.patriots@yahoo.com
Publish this e-mail every chance you get, get it linked to every Patriot site you can, and start building an e-mail database of Patriots in your area!
We need to build our movement in every county with a local database to call upon when we plan a meeting, rally, boycott, or get out the vote drive.
Plan at least a County Planning Committee Meeting, every month, and invite everyone who expresses an interest in the movement, let them voice their concerns, and make sure everyone goes away from each of your meetings knowing that someone finally cares about their concerns.
Encourage your fellow Patriots to run for any office they feel qualified for as we need Patriot candidates for every office from the township to the Whitehouse.
