Somehow they need to generate the revenue to make the social security payments to these millions of retirees. I can't help thinking that this healthcare bill is just another government scam to generate the cash to pay for it's previous ill conceived and mismanaged obligations. It is a given that healthcare will suffer because they will use the funds collected to make social security payments, and to spend on anything else they feel is important. I expect that only a fraction of what they take from us, ostensibly for healthcare, will actually be spent on healthcare. After everything we have seen, especially in the past few years, can anyone doubt that this is exactly how things will play out?
